The company covers an area of approximately 15,000 square metres, including 6,000 square metres of covered warehouses and storage facilities. Together with a modern drying kiln, this infrastructure allows us to manage our timber efficiently, ensuring proper seasoning and providing our customers with a knowledgeable, high-quality service.

In addition to our traditional business supplying construction companies and the structural timber sector, over the past twenty years we have increasingly specialised in timber for joinery and woodworking. We focus not only on traditional European species but also on timber from outside Europe, with the aim of meeting increasingly demanding and diverse market requirements.

Reliability and quality are the core values of our work.

We operate throughout Piedmont and the Aosta Valley, as well as in the province of Varese and in the Swiss cantons of Ticino and Valais. Today, we are also expanding our outlook towards European markets, with a particular focus on Spain and France, developing new commercial relationships and progressively strengthening our international presence.

Founded in 1878 by Domenico Foscale, the company began as a sawmill and grew through the collaboration of his seven children, who established branches in Ivrea and Saluzzo in the early twentieth century. In the 1930s, thanks to the entrepreneurial vision of his son Eugenio, the company diversified its activities by introducing the production of roof tiles and facing bricks.

In the early 1960s, Nini, Alberto and Piero, the founder’s grandsons, decided to focus exclusively on the timber trade and wholesale distribution. They moved the warehouse to its current location in Gaglianico, along the Biella–Vercelli route, the most important commercial area in the Biella region.

Today, Alessandra and Eugenio, representing the fourth generation, continue the family tradition with dedication and integrity. Giulio joined the company five years ago, marking the beginning of the fifth generation.
