Description

One of the most highly valued North American hardwoods, with pale sapwood and brown heartwood in varying shades. Its decorative grain makes it particularly suitable for fine joinery. It offers good natural durability, although the sapwood may be vulnerable to insect attack.

Fine furniture, interior furnishings, carving, gunstocks and flooring.
